Loyal supporters of Ariana Grande are demanding that a individual who leaped a barrier and seized the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A circulating video shows the person identified as Johnson Wen bypassing camera operators and lunging at Grande while the performers walked down a yellow carpet flanked by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being taken in", though official papers indicated that he was set to be present on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

History of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile features clips of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney show in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last winter.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," commented an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Fans Show Disapproval Over the Star's Well-being

Numerous followers accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed suffering from PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her 2017 show in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote a further comment on Instagram.

Several supporters also criticised guards at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals demanded digital services to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande appeared shocked when she was touched by the intruder. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of Singapore supporters had waited to greet the performers of Wicked

Hundreds of fans had gathered in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific debut in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it started.

The motion picture, to be launched on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a dual version of the popular theatrical show Wicked, which focuses on the surprising bond between two contrasting sorceresses.

The show itself is a spin-off of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the character Glinda Glinda, was decked out in a light pink sequin dress at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful film of last year in the UK, and scored ten Oscar nominations, winning several for best costume and set decoration.
