Dallas Cowboys Player Marshawn Kneeland Passes Away at Age 24

Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Marshawn Kneeland has died aged 24.
The Cowboys selected the Cowboys in the second round in the 2024 NFL Draft and appeared in 18 games for the team, with four starting appearances.
He scored his first touchdown in Tuesday's defeat to the Arizona Cardinals when he recovered a blocked punt.
"Marshawn was a beloved teammate and part of our family," the Dallas Cowboys stated.
"Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his loved ones."
Kneeland was selected by Dallas with the 56th selection of the 2024 draft after playing college football for Western Michigan University.
His representative, Jonathan Perzley, said his "heart breaks" for the passing of a player who "poured his heart" into each opportunity.
"I watched him fight his way from a aspiring young man at Western Michigan with a goal to being a respected professional for the Dallas Cowboys," Perzley commented.
The NFL stated it is "profoundly grieved" by the news.
