In a surprising crossover event that defies conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the official release, "A strange confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of banned practices and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The plot introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine sect.
The questline focuses on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
